DEFINITIONS AND CONCEPTS 2.1. DEFINITIONS Boundary: A defined border that accounts for and limits the key business activities and processes which form the basis of the study or analysis. Baseline year: A reference point in time against which a measure of consumption and/or production in the present and/or future are measured. Reporting period: The period for which the instrument assesses the organisation. Unless required, otherwise period should be one year. Management: Management from an organisational perspective refers to planning, organising, and administering its resources and activities effectively to achieve specific objectives efficiently. Green Procurement: The acquisition of environmentally friendly products and services, including setting environmental requirements in selecting suppliers, contractors, and contract agreements. 2.2.
