Per Capita Consumption The yearly use of goods and services by each person, derived by dividing the quantity of goods and services used by the total population. This variable serves as a direct measure of personal economic well-being. Self Sufficiency Level Calculates the percentage of food consumed and produced domestically. It defines whether the production of agricultural commodities for a country is sufficient to meet domestic needs. The higher the ratio, the greater the self-sufficiency. Overexploitation Also known as overfishing, is the removal of marine living resources to levels that are too low for sustaining viable populations Policy maker A broad term that covers all the people responsible for formulating or amending policy. Sociocultural Used to describe the differences between groups of people relating to the social class and culture in which they live Stakeholders Is either an individual, group or organisation that’s impacted by the outcome of a project or a business venture.
