Green Initiatives and Incentives in Budget 2023 will foster Malaysia’s Sustainability Agenda

A steadfast strategy to further propel the country towards becoming a carbon-neutral nation as early as 2050 is how Malaysian Green Technology & Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) sees Budget 2023. In his speech, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, also Finance Minister, announced several allocations under the sustainability initiative to smoothen the transition towards the deployment of Malaysia Madani.

SOLARPACK EMBARKS ON A MEANINGFUL ESG JOURNEY WITH GREEN GROWTH ASIA FOUNDATION AND MGTC

Solarpack Corporación Tecnológica S.A.U (Solarpack) has signed an agreement with Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF) to champion our nation’s ambitious goal to achieve carbon neutrality through the Eco-Schools programme (ESP). The collaboration will see Solarpack partnering with GGAF to deliver the Eco- Schools Programme to the schools with a focus on Solar Energy, as well as contributing to the development of Solar Energy modules for the students.

BURSA MALAYSIA SIGNS MOC WITH MGTC TO ENHANCE VOLUNTARY CARBON MARKET ECOSYSTEM

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) and Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (“MGTC”) today signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (“MoC”) to build and promote the voluntary carbon market (“VCM”) ecosystem in Malaysia, following the launch of the Bursa Carbon Exchange (“BCX”) in December 2022.
