“Think of a problem and business solution that’s not profit-driven but will tackle the problem sustainably. Whatever you do, don’t give up. If you believe it’s the right thing to do, do it. Be persistent and be strong.” Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus spoke passionately at the Green Social Business Dialogue organized by myHarapan in partnership with MGTC.
He further explained that in social business, resources could come from anywhere, including creative power, talent, and funds, but the purpose must not be making money for oneself but solving problems in communities.
In the dialogue session, MGTC was happy to share its ongoing efforts in line with the social business values. Two Memorandum of Collaboration with Entomal and myHarapan were also announced at the event, mainly to address poverty, unemployment, and carbon emission issues.
